Our journey began in the 1970s when Mohammed Ishtiyaq Ahmad, hailing from Kakori village, introduced Kakori Kebab – the iconic dish. His passion for the art of kebabs was further nurtured by his son-in-law, the late Abdul Rasheed, who moved to Delhi and expanded the legacy, refining the recipe and building a loyal following from 1984 to 2013.
Abdul Rashid, who began working with the family business at the age of 14, later founded Al-Rasheed Restaurant and Catering in 2018, blending tradition with quality. Together with his brother Raees Khan, Abdul Rashid is carrying forward the family tradition with a focus on quality and flavor. Today, Al-Rasheed has thriving branches in Delhi and Gurgaon, offering delicious Kakori Kebabs and catering services, maintaining a deep commitment to flavor, tradition, and exceptional service.
